Article Processing Charges (APC)
The Interdisciplinary Journal of AI, Machine Learning & Data Science (IJAIMLDS) is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal. All published articles are made freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or access barriers.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support editorial management, plagiarism checks, DOIs, peer-review administration, article production, digital hosting, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.
The APC is applicable only after a manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been accepted for publication. There are no submission fees.
- Indian Authors: ₹3000 INR per accepted article
- International (Non-Indian) Authors: $50 USD per accepted article
Open Access Model
IJAIMLDS follows a full open access publishing model, ensuring that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently accessible online upon publication without subscription barriers.
Payment Methods
Once a manuscript is accepted, authors will receive an official invoice along with secure payment instructions. Accepted payment methods include:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Credit / Debit cards
- Secure Online Payment Gateway
Payment details and transaction instructions will be provided only after manuscript acceptance.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- APC payments are generally non-refundable once the production process has started.

Waivers and Discounts
The Journal may grant partial or full waivers of the Article Processing Charge (APC) only in exceptional, verifiable, and strictly limited circumstances. As the APC is maintained at a substantially subsidized level, waivers are not standard and will be granted solely at the Journal’s discretion.
Eligibility for APC waivers is strictly limited to manuscripts for which all listed authors satisfy each of the following criteria:
(i) All authors are affiliated with institutions located in countries classified as “low-income economies” by the World Bank, based on the classification in effect at the time of manuscript submission (see: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519);
(ii) None of the authors are affiliated with any institution, organization, or employer that provides, administers, or has the capacity to provide financial support for publication or dissemination costs, including APCs, whether such support is utilized or not;
(iii) None of the authors have access to any research grants, institutional funds, departmental budgets, project funds, discretionary funds, or sponsor-based funding that may reasonably be used to cover publication or dissemination costs;
(iv) The research underlying the manuscript has not received financial support from any funding agency, sponsor, or collaborative project that permits allocation of funds toward publication charges;
(v) All authors are demonstrably unable to secure financial support for APCs from any external, institutional, collaborative, or sponsor-based sources.
The presence of any author affiliated with an institution in a non–low-income country, or any author with access—actual or potential—to funding sources that could reasonably cover the APC, shall render the manuscript ineligible for a waiver.
All waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and must include a formal declaration explicitly addressing each eligibility criterion, accompanied by verifiable supporting documentation. The Journal reserves the right to request additional evidence at its sole discretion.
Requests that are incomplete, unverifiable, submitted after manuscript acceptance, or that fail to satisfy all stated criteria will be automatically rejected without further review.
To ensure equitable allocation and financial sustainability, APC waivers are subject to a fixed quota per issue. Once the allocated quota has been reached, no further waiver requests will be considered under any circumstances.
Any changes in authorship, affiliation, or funding status after submission will trigger a re-evaluation of waiver eligibility and may result in revocation of an approved waiver.
Any false, misleading, or incomplete declaration shall result in immediate rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript and may lead to additional sanctions, including submission bans, at the Journal’s discretion. Decisions regarding APC waivers are final and non-appealable.
